Your role and responsibilities

As Group Tax Specialist, you are a pivotal player in managing the tax responsibilities across Danish and international entities. Your primary responsibilities include:


  • Corporate tax management: Conduct comprehensive tax calculations, ensure accurate joint tax calculations, and handle tax reporting. Manage inquiries and controls from tax authorities and analyze political tax measures to assess their impact.
  • Transfer pricing: Prepare and file transfer pricing documentation, manage agreements, and collaborate with the legal department to ensure compliance and optimize strategies.
  • Indirect taxes and VAT: Report indirect taxes, including energy and environmental taxes for the Nordic and Baltic entities. Support the finance team with VAT reporting, inquiries, and controls, and participate in VAT measures related to import and export.
  • Tax reporting and compliance: Control and review tax reporting from subsidiaries. Handle inquiries and controls from tax authorities in collaboration with external tax advisors.
  • Tax planning and strategic support: Assist the Group CFO and Regional CFO with tax matters, implement and coordinate global minimum tax and other tax planning activities, and participate in commercial changes with focus on tax implications.

You report directly to the Regional CFO and work closely with the Group Consolidation & Reporting Manager. Further, you work closely with the legal department, finance team, and external tax advisors to manage complex tax matters. As part of this role, you also work in close cooperation with the Cementir Group to provide essential support and ensure alignment with group-wide tax strategies and compliance initiatives.


You have a relevant education such as HDR, Cand. Merc. Aud., or Cand. Merc. Jur., and 7-10 years of experience from a tax department in an international company or an audit firm. You have expertise in corporate tax calculations and transfer pricing, along with knowledge of VAT and indirect taxes. Proficiency in Danish and English is essential. Knowledge of SAP, HFM or similar ERP-systems is an advantage. 


You are analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills. You excel in communication, are flexible in relation to handling last-minute tasks, and work independently. You stay proactive in keeping up with tax regulations and have a natural curiosity for learning and engaging in discussions.
