What is the job about?

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive career and university counselling program for Grades 9-12.
  • Providing personalized student guidance on school selection, application strategies, and admissions essays.
  • Supporting students through the university application process (UCAS, Common App, Dutch admissions, and others).
  • Coordinating predicted grades for early applicants and advising on scholarships and financial aid.
  • Organizing career-focused events, including Grade 9 Careers Week, university fairs, and information sessions.
  • Building strong relationships with universities and external institutions to expand opportunities for students.
  • Supervising PSAT testing and advising students on alternative career pathways, including gap years and apprenticeships.

What do we expect from you?

  • Significant experience in university and career counselling, preferably in an international school setting.
  • Deep knowledge of global higher education systems, including UCAS, Common App, and Dutch admissions.
  • Experience using university counselling platforms (CIALFO, Unifrog, or similar).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students and families effectively.
  • Proven ability to lead workshops, meetings, and information sessions.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Education, Counselling, or a related field is a plus.
