Data Analyst (12-15 hours a week) for the XL-BYG Brejnholt A/S

As one of Denmark’s 500 largest enterprises, the XL-BYG Brejnholt A/S, strives to be a first mover in the field of digitalization and data analytics for b2b trading of construction materials. We are continuously expanding our Data Analytics team and are looking for ambitious people with an interest in data, to improve our data pipeline and analytics systems. 

You will be working in our Data Analytics Team in Højbjerg (Aarhus) to develop tools and infrastructure for digitalizing our B2B business: 

• Help develop solutions, for example for automated price-setting and logistics optimization – and present findings directly to stakeholders across our business units. 
• Running and maintaining pre-existing code and reports on a recurring basis. Learn and implement good practices for robust, interpretable and re-usable code.
• General Ad hoc business analytics & reporting. 
• Implement AI, such as automation agents, assisted data-cleaning and sales lead scoring.

We expect you to have a passion for working with data and numbers

• We prefer that you are working for a BSc in Economics and Business Administration at Aarhus Business School or alternatively a field of study where you are using programming languages to analyze, manipulate, and visualize data.
• We prefer that you are at your end of second semester or third semester or similar. 
• You are probably one of the top performers in your class. 
• You might have some knowledge of Python and are interested in developing your skills further. 
• Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI would be an advantage. 
• You can work independently, and as part of a team. 
• You speak English fluently. Danish is not required, but we offer all non-Danish employees 1:1 language training which we expect you to participate in. 
• You are ready to defend your findings against top management and stakeholders.
