Position

As Technical Product Manager, you will be the technical owner and application expert for Baumer's level and conductivity sensor portfolio. Working closely with customers, sales, R&D, and operations, you will drive product development, lifecycle management, and technical support activities across the portfolio.

In this role, you will work in close partnership with the Commercial Product Manager, combining technical expertise, application knowledge, and market insights to ensure the successful development and positioning of our products. Together, you will translate customer and market requirements into innovative and competitive solutions.


Your responsibilities include supporting development projects as Product Owner, maintaining technical documentation, supporting product launches, OEM projects, and customer-specific solutions.

Based in Aarhus, you will be part of Baumer's international Product Management and work closely with colleagues in Switzerland and across the global organization.

To succeed, you bring a strong technical background, experience with product applications and technical product management, and the ability to translate customer needs into robust technical solutions. Experience within sensor technology, process instrumentation, or industrial automation is an advantage.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own the technical lifecycle management of the level and conductivity sensor portfolio
  • Maintain deep technical product and application knowledge
  • Define and maintain product specifications and technical requirements
  • Support R&D in product development and product enhancement activities
  • Ensure all technical documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date
  • Prepare and maintain datasheets, manuals, application notes, and web content
  • Provide technical support and guidance to sales teams, and customers
  • Evaluate customer-specific requirements and support OEM and special solution projects


Qualifications

  • Holds a degree in engineering (electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, or industrial engineering) 
  • Has experience in the process industry, ideally with process instrumentation 
  • Experience from a similar Technical Product Manager role is preferred
  • Strong technical understanding of sensors, instrumentation, automation, or process technology
  • Experience with technical product documentation such as datasheets, manuals, specifications, or application notes
  • Ability to understand customer applications and translate requirements into product specifications
  • Experience working closely with engineering and R&D teams
  • Knowledge of process instrumentation, level measurement, conductivity measurement or related technologies is an advantage
  • Possesses strong written and spoken Danish and English skills
