Are you our new Crane Operator?

We are always looking for new talents. If you want to join as Crane Operator onboard one of our vessels, we would be happy to receive your application. If you have offshore experience that is excellent, however not a requirement.

As Crane Operator you are the important link between the Lift Supervisor, the WTG-technicians, and the crew of our vessels. 

We expect:

• That you hold a Crane Operator certificate as one of the listed: 
  • DK AMU Mobile Crane A or B, 
  • OPITO Offshore Crane Operator Stage 2, 
  • NL NOGEPA 1.2A, 
  • Norwegian G5.
• That you are an experienced and dedicated Crane Operator.
• That you can complete a GWO Working at Height course, if you do not hold this course.
• That you can pass a seafarers medical examination receiving a valid Health Certificate.
• That you can pass client inductions on your own, working on their IT-platforms.
• That you promote and work safety, always as a good role model.
• That you are service minded, always ready to assist our clients and have the right CAN DO. WILL DO attitude.
• That you are eager to learn, as ZITON is a company where we constantly want to improve your skills and performance.
• That you are a strong team player.

Your job will be:

• To operate and maintain the Liebherr main crane onboard, including auxiliary cranes.
• Always to operate the cranes within the safety limits and in accordance with the Lift Plans.
• Follow instructions from appointed Signalers and Lift Supervisors.
• Ensure that all safety precautions for accident prevention are taken and observed.
• Inspect and maintain the crane(s) and lifting gear in accordance with manufacture and Company procedures.
• Carry out any other work such as assistance in connection with departure, arrival, watch keeping and general maintenance.
• Assisting our client and improve the services ZITON provides.
• Work closely with the Technical Superintendent and Operations Manager on all matters required.
