WOMEN’S SHOES & ACCESSORIES ILLUM

Do you have previous experience in fashion buying—ideally with luxury brands—and a strong understanding of the fashion industry landscape? Do you want to shape the assortment in one of ILLUM’s key categories and create an inspiring shopping experience? Then this is your chance to take the next step in your career.

As a Buyer at ILLUM, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing the product assortment for Women’s Shoes & Accessories – with a sharp focus on trends, sales performance, and customer needs. You will work both strategically and analytically with buying, supplier negotiations, and pricing to ensure a strong, profitable assortment. With your commercial mindset and passion for retail, you will create value through smart product selections and a strong market position.

To Succeed in This Roll, You Will...

• Lead the buying and trading strategy for Women’s Shoes & Accessories – turning trends, sales data, and customer behavior into strong product choices.
• Balance daily operations with strategic planning, working hands-on with everything from forecasting and inventory to pricing and brand performance.
• Use a structured, data-driven approach to stock management, sales analysis, and process development.
• Collaborate closely with Merchandisers, the Senior Buying Manager, Sales Teams, and key internal stakeholders.
• Navigate a dynamic retail environment with confidence, solving challenges quickly and proactively.
• Develop and implement a growth-focused category strategy within your first 6 months – and deliver improvements in sales and margin through smart buying.

• Are naturally analytical and skilled at turning data into clear, actionable insights.
• Bring experience from buying, merchandising, retail planning, or supply chain.
• Work in a structured way and use analysis to support better decisions and drive results.
• Are a confident communicator and team player who thrives in a fast-moving environment.
• Speak fluent English (Danish is a plus but not essential).
• Are hands-on, proactive, and excited to help shape something new at ILLUM.
