We are currently looking for a proactive and highly digital Senior Art Director to join our global marketing team in Copenhagen. In this role, you will play the pivotal part in elevating and stimulating Vipp’s brand universe and visual product concepts on all Vipp platforms and to all customers, press relations, and partners around the world. 


About the role

You will be one of the driving forces behind the idea and concept development and execution of the brand's visual expression. You will ensure that all brand and product concepts are executed seamlessly across all platforms and to all medias; Vipp web and all digital channels, printed catalogues, advertisement, press releases, sales material, packaging etc.

Your expertise in planning creative and inspirational photoshoots will ensure that all content maintains Vipp’s high standards, while effectively promoting and boosting our collections through your digital know-how and your strong visual eye.

You’ll be joining Vipp’s ambitious and super passionate marketing team, which includes in-house experts in graphic design, photography, PR, communications, concepts, and space planning - all based at our Copenhagen headquarters.

You will report directly to our Marketing Director when she returns from maternity leave. In her absence, you will report to our CEO. 

Your daily graphic team consist of two graphic designers (one on maternity leave) and a photographer.


Key responsibilities:

    Visual Brand Identity: Develop, re-new and maintain Vipp’s visual brand identity in all areas with a visual presence – including Vipp’s own digital channels, print and digital advertising, catalogues, sales material, press releases, invitations, packaging etc.

    Idea & Concept Development: Create a culture and inspirational space where you and the team can generate impactful and innovative ideas together and bring them to life. Plan and art direct photoshoots with film and photo cases. 

    Seamless Experience: Make sure that all content and campaigns are executed in the most optimal and appealing way ensuring consistent brand representation in all markets and on all platforms.

    Brand Alignment: Ensure all brand and product concepts are aligned with Vipp’s core brand identity, key product launches and strategic goals.

    Guide the Creative Team: Act as the central point of art direction within the team of graphic designers and photographer, providing inspirational and positive dialogue, forcing innovative ideas, and ensuring concepts and campaigns are executed effectively.

    Execution & Evaluation: Take a hands-on approach to the art direction development, the execution, and the follow-up of the activities. You’ll continuously evaluate the ideas and results - and optimize the processes to enhance the effectiveness of the great efforts.


About you:

    You bring a minimum of 5-10 years' experience in a similar graphical role - ideally within lifestyle, interior design, an agency, or related industries.

    You have an innate aesthetic sense and design understanding. You are creative by heart and love seeing how a brand unfolds itself. 

    New ideas come to you easily and how to transform them into appealing and innovative creatives. You love being a storyteller from idea to execution.

    You know your medias - and know how a brand should make its impact on the digital scene. You can’t help being updated on trends and tendencies.

    You’re skilled at planning and getting everyone around you onboard. You are structured and organized in your process and follow ups – and keep your head cold in times of short deadlines.

    You have a flair for interior design and brand experiences and understand the importance of high-quality execution in everything you do.

    You’re an emphatic team player who thrives on seeing the impact of your efforts and fostering collaborative success for the brand and the team.
