Senior Data Analyst / Team Lead

The Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and hands-on individual to lead our data analysis efforts. This hybrid role combines financial insight with technical depth. You will be responsible for driving data-informed decisions across the organization and for guiding a small group of student analysts in their day-to-day work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver financial insights and performance reporting to senior management
  • Design and maintain dashboards and KPIs for operational and strategic use
  • Analyze business data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Ensure high-quality data pipelines and reporting infrastructure
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to support data-driven decision-making
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and mentoring to a group of student analysts
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and data quality

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Intelligence, or a related field. Alternatively other quantitative background with experience of working with business data
  • Proven experience of data analysis in a business setting (Ideally at 5+ years of work experience). Experience with mentoring would be a plus but is not a prerequisite
  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL and working with relational databases. 
  • Working knowledge of Python for data manipulation and automation
  • Proficiency in Excel and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Experience with ERP systems and data modeling is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Fluent in English (Danish is a plus but not strictly required)
