Trainee Groundsman to F.C. Copenhagen
Are you driven by making the stadium and training surface shine on game days and in the daily life of professional football players? An exciting opportunity has now arisen to join the Grounds Team at F.C. Copenhagen as a trainee Groundsman.
The 38.065 seat Parken Stadium host all F.C. Copenhagen's home matches, national team matches as well as concerts and events. We live by gathering and entertaining people and we work when others are off, and have an ambition to deliver sports, music and experiences in high class.
Besides the Parken Stadium, FCK trains at Kjøbenhavns Boldklub facility training ground, where we have 3 hybrid grass pitches.
F.C. Copenhagen was founded in 1992 as a structure on top of Kjøbenhavns Boldklub and Boldklubben 1903, with Kjøbenhavns Boldklub from 1876 being the oldest club in Continental Europe.
Responsibility
Reporting to the Head of Grounds, the successful candidate will have an enthusiasm for the industry, ambition to improve themselves, and thrive to present the clubs playing surfaces at Parken Stadium, Training Ground and Turf Farm.

Working hours are 37 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 on a rota. The successful candidate should have a flexible approach to working hours.
Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement for the trainee education.
Requirements to become a trainee and trainee education
You must have completed primary school with a minimum average grade of 02 in Danish and mathematics – or an equivalent qualification. If you do not meet this requirement, you must take an entrance exam.
The program begins with a basic course at the school. If you come directly from 9th or 10th grade, the basic course lasts 40 weeks. If you have left 9th or 10th grade more than a year ago, the basic course lasts 20 weeks.
If you are over 25 years old, you may be eligible for a specially tailored program.
After completing the basic course, you continue with the main program, which changes between practical training and school periods.
The education lasts between 3 years and 5 months to 4 years and 6 months, depending on your background. The duration includes the basic course.
