Dantec Dynamics A/S is hiring a Production Support Engineer - CTA sensors.

The job:

The Production Support Engineer (“PSE”) for CTA Sensors is responsible for providing technical support to the CTA production team, updating of the production documentation, and driving to improve yields. The position is also responsible for handling error reports and maintaining all CTA tools. The PSE is based out of the Company’s facility in Skovlunde and reports to the Operations Manager.


Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Develop understanding of the current CTA sensor production processes and advise on improvements to continuously improve production yields, efficiency, quality and health & safety.
  • Revise production documentation as needed to ensure all process steps are properly documented and documentation sufficiently detailed and thorough to allow new technicians to start producing CTA sensors
  • Production and Test Equipment:

         o Systematic maintenance of production equipment including corrections/repairs when needed.

         o Implement and perform test and control of all equipment.

         o Ensure that procedures for testing and controlling all equipment are complete and up to date at all times.

         o Coordinate calibration of test and measurement equipment.

  • Error reports and corrections:
        o Generate, follow up and implement error reports/corrections.
        o Implement and make corrections in production documentation.

  • Make or acquire components or tools to solve critical issues/situations. (Delivery or quality related)

  • Evaluate how to deploy disruptive technologies, such as alternative production processes, to increase output and margins.

  • Perform engineering support for production and seek support from R&D when needed.

  • Assist production with assembly of CTA probes in case of capacity shortage situations.

  • Other duties as assigned

We expect:

  • Bachelor in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Production) or AP Degree in Production Technology or Chemical Processing
  • Experience supporting sputtering machines that apply metal surface to wolfram wires in a vacuum chamber considered a plus
  • Experience with fine mechanics production under microscope considered a plus
  • Ability to work independently and to handle several parallel tasks at a time.
  • Can understand and read a mechanical drawing and electronic/electrical diagrams.
  • Team player who can and will use and share knowledge.
  • Must be able to communicate proficiently in English and Danish
  • Solve tasks in a structured way.
  • Take ownership of the work and can prioritize important / critical tasks.
