Design Intern at Kontrapunkt Japan

We are looking for a design student or a recent graduate to join our Tokyo office on a paid, part-time internship running 3-6 months, with a start date in Autumn 2026. 

What you'll do
You'll be part of a small Tokyo team where Scandinavian design thinking meets the ambition of Japanese organisations. You'll support ongoing projects with solid, guided execution – learning to understand context, follow creative direction, and contribute in ways that matter.

Who you are
You're curious, reliable, and bring fresh eyes and genuine enthusiasm for design. You're as excited to execute as you are to explore new ideas. You receive feedback openly and work well with others.

What we're looking for

• A passion for craft and an eye for detail

• Willingness to learn, iterate, and improve

• Fluency in Japanese and English

• Based in Tokyo and available to work on-site

Kontrapunkt Japanでは、デザインを学んでいる学生、または卒業間もない方を対象に、東京オフィスでの有給・パートタイムインターンを募集しています。期間は3〜6か月、開始時期は2026年秋を予定しています。

業務内容

東京の少数精鋭チームの一員として、スカンジナビアのデザイン思考と日本企業・組織の高い志が交わる環境で働いていただきます。

進行中のプロジェクトをサポートしながら、適切な指導のもとで着実に実務を経験していただきます。文脈を理解し、クリエイティブディレクションに沿って制作を進め、プロジェクトに意味のある貢献をする力を身につけていきます。
