JUNIOR ASSET MANAGER

We are looking for an additional Junior Asset Manager to join the young and dynamic team in Orange Capital Partners located in central Copenhagen. The Danish team has close collaboration with international colleagues e.g., from the investment team, which is responsible for acquisition of properties and management of the portfolios. Orange Capital Partners are on a growth journey in Denmark and structures and processes for asset management are being built up within the international standards.
As Junior Asset Manager, you work closely together with the asset management team with reference to Head of Asset Management, Denmark. You are part of the Danish organization in OCP that is being established and at present consists of 6 employees with permanent base in Copenhagen.
The Danish portfolio primarily consists of newly built residential rental properties in Greater Copenhagen and a few in Aarhus. The Danish portfolio is estimated to have a value of DKK 10 billion and to grow significantly through acquisitions in the years to come.
As Junior Asset Manager, you are responsible for all real estate matters including optimizations, leasing, and internal reporting in relation to your portfolio(s). This includes, among other things, tasks such as:
At the same time, you are the link that ensures a common thread between the analyses that form the basis for investment decisions made by the investment team and the reporting requirements (OPEX, CAPEX, etc.) defined at group level in OCP.
You work with a range of external parties (Property Managers/Technical due diligence advisors/Legal advisors/Real Estate Agents/Marketing teams etc.) with a wide selection of responsibilities including and not limited to the following:
You have a degree in economics or finance, law, technical engineering, or real estate at minimum bachelor level. Alternatively, an education as a real estate agent possibly supplemented with a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration. Practical experience with asset management can compensate for lack of theoretical education.
Preferable you have 1-3 years of experience from a similar role at a private investor, pension fund or capital fund working with management and optimization of real estate investments. It is a requirement that you are internationally oriented.
Your language skills in Danish and English both written and spoken are fluent and you possess strong skills within MS Office.
Experience with newly built real estate is an advantage but not a requirement.
You are an independent, ambitious, and responsible person with great self-drive and an entrepreneurial mindset, who naturally assumes the role as a project manager and thereby ensures that internal and external partners deliver as agreed. You are an outgoing and commercially driven person who is motivated by succeeding together with the team. Further, you have a positive pro-active attitude and are prepared to work in a small team where tasks and projects can vary. You have good planning skills, not least in relation to prioritizing and carrying out efforts - both your own and those of others, are able to deliver to deadlines and willing to work the extra-miles if necessary. Last, but not least, you have a growth mindset, an eye for spotting opportunities and an interest in new trends.
