Position
In this key role, you will be responsible for the strategic management and ongoing development of the level sensor product portfolio. As Product Manager at Baumer, you will own this portfolio segment and contribute to shaping its future profitable growth in revenue and piece count.
You will be part of the international Product Management and Innovation team for process sensors, working closely with colleagues in Aarhus and at Baumer headquarters in Switzerland. Based in Aarhus, you will operate within a matrix organization, reporting to the Head of Innovation for Process Sensor in Switzerland as well as the local Plant Manager in Aarhus.
Your responsibilities will span manage the product portfolio, business support, product support, and application expertise. You will handle both technical and pricing strategies, and participate in development projects as Product Owner, ensuring that customer requirements and market needs are fully addressed in alignment to the overall strategy.
You will also support marketing activities by providing accurate product data for datasheets, manuals, articles, flyers.. In addition, you are responsible of successful product launches and you will manage the commercial aspects of special solutions and OEM requests in close cooperation with all internal & external stakeholders.
Furthermore, you will take the lead in planning and delivering training sessions for both colleagues and customers within your area of expertise.
To succeed, you should have experience in strategic product management, a solid technical background (ideally in sensor technology), and strong communication skills. You should be comfortable working in an international environment, managing cross-functional stakeholders, and taking ownership with a results-driven mindset.
