Business Development Assistant

Are you dreaming of unlocking some of the biggest brand transformations in and outside Denmark? Kontrapunkt is now looking for a student assistant to support with market analyses, business development and strategy execution to assist our management team. You will report directly to the CEO. 


About you
You shouldn’t change who you are just for us. But if the following sounds like you, we’re pretty sure we’ll get along great.

  • You are finishing your Bachelor’s degree or are on at the first year of your Master’s degree, preferably within business or economics
  • You have experience as a business analyst, junior consultant or student assistant in a commercial environment
  • You possess a high degree of independence and are able to structure and execute your work independently
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are good at spotting opportunities
  • You are analytical and know how to synthesize data and research into actionable insights
  • You have a hunger for knowledge and a curiosity for people, businesses and brands - and many different industries spark your appetite
  • You have a desire to build your consulting toolbox


Your potential new role


Strategy support

  • Support strategy development and execution in Denmark & Japan
  • Support and drive selected strategic initiatives
  • Analyse potential markets, segments and opportunities

New business development

  • Screen business news to identify potential new leads
  • Analyse clients and develop pre-read material before client meetings
  • Support pipeline management and staffing
  • Proactively send material to teams on staffing situation, performance and pipeline
  • Follow-up on PR & marketing initiatives (e.g. events, talks and webinars)
  • Develop and run a structured approach to lead generation
  • Screen tender sites
  • Develop new commercial concepts for client management

Management support

  • Produce material for board meetings and monthly team meetings
  • Prepare and follow up on management meetings
  • Perform internal analyses and prepare regular fact packs for teams

Optimising internal operations 

  • Help develop tools and templates to optimise the way we do things


When can you start?            
We are looking for you to join as soon as possible, ideally from May 1st 2021. We will review applications in March and start interviewing in early April, so apply sooner rather than later.

The position is estimated for 20-25 hours/week, and we will of course make it work if you have classes or assignments to take care of.
