We are always looking for new talents to join our fleet. If you want to join as 2nd Engineer, 1st Engineer or Chief Engineer onboard one of our vessels, we would be happy to receive your application.

As some of our vessels have less propulsion than 3000 kW, we are looking for different profiles for our vessels.


 

We expect:

  • That you hold a valid STCW Certificate of Competency as one of below:
    • CoC as Chief Engineer Officer (STCW III/2)
    • CoC as Engineer Officer 1st Class (STCW III/3 / III/2)
    • CoC as Mechanist 1st or 2nd Class (STCW III/3 / III/1)
    • CoC as Watchkeeping Officer (STCW III/1)
    • Including Electro-technical Officer (STCW III/6)
  • That you can complete a GWO Working at Height course, if you do not hold this course.
  • That you can pass a seafarers medical examination receiving a valid Health Certificate.
  • That you can pass client inductions on your own, working on their IT-platforms.
  • That you promote and work safety, always as a good role model.
  • That you are service minded, always ready to assist our clients and have the right CAN DO. WILL DO attitude.
  • You are eager to learn, as ZITON is a company where we constantly want to improve your skills and performance.
  • That you are a strong team player.

Your job will be:

  • Operation, maintenance and repair of the ship's propulsion and auxiliary machinery and its electrical installations and jacking/spud leg system in accordance with manuals and instructions made by manufacturers or the Company and with rules and regulations laid down by the authorities and the classification society.
  • Maintenance of all on-board technical devices, including crane(s). 
  • Ensuring that supplies of spare parts and materials needed for operation and continuously maintenance of all technical equipment are adequate and procured
  • Daily work with PMS (Sertica)
  • Jacking of the vessel, during arrival/departure of WTG’s and when going in/out of port.
  • Plan and delegate work for the engine-crew.
  • Work with our Safety Management System, including Permit to Work System and Risk Assessment.
  • Assisting our client and improve the service ZITON are providing.
  • Work closely with the Technical Superintendent and Operations Manager on all matters required.
