Account Manager for ZUPA’s pharma team 


Are you an experienced account manager with a strong strategic mindset who excels in client relations and perhaps even comes with knowledge of the pharma industry? Then you might just be the perfect match for ZUPA’s pharma team at our office in the heart of Copenhagen. You’ll be managing some of the agency’s biggest accounts and from day one be responsible for maintaining existing strong client relations, expanding their portfolios, and further strengthening ZUPA’s position within pharma. You’ll join a dedicated pharma team of five wonderfully talented people – and in Copenhagen be surrounded by an additional 25 colleagues, consisting of creatives, strategists, project managers, and digital wizards.     


About the role

As account manager your number one job is to be an invaluable link between ZUPA and our pharma clients. Through a deep strategic understanding of their needs, their context, and their opportunities you will help set the course for complex projects and be a driving force in etsblishing and building on strong relations and making sure that what we deliver is top of the shelf. 


The job in brief:

  • Maintaining close dialogues with clients and developing their accounts and their brand 
  • Acting as a valuable sparring partner to clients and not be afraid to challenge them – in the daily dialogue as well as in client meetings
  • Planning and driving projects that encompass a wide range of marketing elements – from digital tools and campaigns to traditional media and events – in close collaboration with ZUPA’s creative team
  • Ensuring financial control of running projects and grow morebizz through a strong commercial focus. 


About you

You have documented experience from a similar position in an agency or a marketing department. Pharma knowledge is an advantage but not a dealbreaker. What’s important is that you have the ability to easily understand a client’s business and the strategic context of a marketing project – and that you are able to lead and distribute work in a structured manner and make sure the right skills are put into play at the right time. You are used to working in a dynamic environment where tasks and timelines can change in the blink of an eye and no two days are the same. Last but not least, you are a teamplayer with a can-do attitude who knows how to fuel the creative fire and make everyone bring their best.
