What You’ll Be Doing

As an Operations Manager at Clipper Bulk A/S, based in Copenhagen, you will join a dedicated and highly skilled team of Bulk Operators, working closely with colleagues located in Hong Kong, Houston, and South Africa. With our vessels traded worldwide, your expertise and decisions will directly influence our bottom line. In this role, you and the Operations team are viewed as critical contributors to optimizing performance and maximizing results.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring optimal operations and delivering value for Clipper and our customers
• Maintaining close, daily communication with Charterers, Shipowners, Agents, Captains, Port Captains, Surveyors, and other service providers
• Overseeing a range of operational tasks, including monitoring, measuring, and enhancing vessel performance, managing agents, and coordinating port nominations
• Supporting the training and development of our young talent, fostering growth and expertise within the team

Additionally, we seek candidates with the following qualifications:

• At least five years of experience in bulk operations
• You “know the drill”, and, in theory, you can operate your own fleet from “day one”
• A commercial mindset that shows you strive to impact the results
• Excellent organizational skills with a clear overview of tasks
• A positive and innovative attitude and strong communication skills in English
• Familiarity with VIP and Sedna systems is an advantage but not required
