Lauritzen Bulkers seeks Freight Trader

Lauritzen Bulkers is growing the freight trading activities and therefore looking for a new colleague with dry bulk and preferable also handy size experience.

Your professional and personal qualifications
You are the right candidate, if you have a working background from a ship owner or ship operator, possibly with further experience gained from working within freight trading or with a dry cargo broker.

We expect you to have a minimum of six years of experience within the dry cargo industry. Working abroad is further an advantage. Knowledge of the handy size segment is a plus, however not a requirement.

You must have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken at negotiation level as it is our working language in a multicultural environment.

On a personal level, you have an open minded and curious mindset wanting to try out new possibilities together with your colleagues to ensure further growth.

You take responsibility in your work and you are motivated by a high degree of independency. You hold strong communicative skills and are therefore able to build collaborative relationships with your colleagues and customers. To inspire people is a natural part of who you are, and proactively you take part in motivating and supporting your colleagues.

Lauritzen Bulkers is operating, at any given time, a fleet of 70-100 vessels, mainly in the handy size segment. 

You will be working from our headquarters in Hellerup, Denmark.
